Can America be Number One in Happiness?

Here is an interesting piece from the NY Times about whether GDP should be the appropriate measure of our success as a nation and how/why it should be happiness. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we lived in the happiest nation on earth? I know I’m in favor, check out the article, the link is below:
