Happiness & DiA de los Muertos

Happiness & Dia de los Muertos

Tonight I thought I’d share an interest of mine, I’m quite fascinated with Dia de los Muertos, The Day of the Dead (DOTD).  I really love the idea of remembering loved ones who have passed on with an altar as well as gifts for the dead.  It’s a way of staying connected with family and friends who are no longer with us.  There is of course much more to the holiday and I hope some day to spend the holiday in Mexico where the festival is really large and well celebrated.  Until then I visit a local festival each year and collect art work related to the holiday.

So tonight some photos I’ve taken, and images of some of the art I’ve collected, enjoy and have a happy Dia de los Muertos. ~ Rev Kane
