So today in my tour around the web I encountered and interesting story on NPR about rare earth sounds including such things as tuba sounds made by sand dunes. I’ve always been fascinated by sound in nature whether it be the boiling cobblestone beaches or the cacophony of sounds at night in the Amazonian Rainforests in Brazil or even the natural quiet you can find deep in the forest.
