Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all. ~ Harriet Van Horne

Three Questions, January 27, 2025

You can find the background to The Three Questions in my recent post about it. I’ll be answering the questions each day for the next year and putting this experience into a book. Here we go!

What was the most beautiful thing I encountered today?

Oh it’s a silly thing, but after scrubbing my bathroom sink, that shiny what sink was beautiful.

What did I learn today?

Crows can recognize faces and actually hold grudges for years. I knew ravens could do similar things but didn’t realize crows could as well. These two species of birds are incredibly intelligent.

What made me happy today?

I made homemade chicken parmesan tonight and it was delicious, made me very happy.
