Rest when you’re weary. Refresh and renew yourself, your body, your mind, your spirit. Then get back to work. ~ Ralph Marston

Three Questions, February 1, 2025

You can find the background to The Three Questions in my recent post about it. I’ll be answering the questions each day for the next year and putting this experience into a book. Here we go!

What was the most beautiful thing I encountered today?

I was standing in line in the grocery store, I was third in line. The first person was being rung up and the cashier asked for a penny. The man’s English wasn’t very good, and he was confused, finally he pulled out some change but had no penny. The old man who was second in line reached up and offered him the penny. The first man seemed quite surprised and then quite grateful and happy. It was just really beautiful to see some simple kindness in a world where it is seriously lacking right now.

What did I learn today?

An interesting fact, although we call it the red planet, the sunsets on Mars are blue.

What made me happy today?

Man it’s been a week, what made me happy today was just really having a down and nothing day.
