A New Year’s resolution to lose weight, with a twist

Happy New Year my friends, I know many people who are happy to see 2012 go; it was a tough year for a lot of folks.  Welcome 2013, I truly believe this is going to be a fabulous year, not sure why but 2013 seems to have a good incoming vibe.  Let’s all hope I’m right.

So many of you will be sitting down to make a list of resolutions for the next year.  As usual, a lot of us will resolve to lose weight this year.  I’d ask you to tweak the resolution just a bit.  Resolve to lose some weight this year, but let’s lose the weight that truly holds us down, the emotional weight.  Let’s take a look at our lives and lose the weight of things that hold us down.  Let’s lose the negative people and things, the stuff in our life that makes us feel bad.  Let’s actively look to add things to our life that provide happiness and positivity.  It’s an absolute cliché but a wonderful thought, accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative, and have a happy year my friends ~ Rev Kane
