Via a good friend of mine, I found a piece on the 15 things happy people do differently. Basically the article focus on the characteristics happy people have and the choices they make like accepting new things instead of resisting change, forgiving instead of holding a grudge. For me, I put taking responsibility first, then the rest of the list in random order. I need to take responsibility for myself to be happy and to make that choice before I can consciously make all of the other things happen. “A journey of a thousand miles begins with one simple step.” This quote by Lao Tzu may be one of the most profound logical statements ever, as it encompasses everything into the act of action. Like you said, happiness is a choice people make.
